New Life Brings Sisters Closer!!!

Riley was two weeks past her due date and it was driving her crazy. She was pregnant in the summertime and she was miserable. Aiden had been working alot trying to make sure that he wouldnt have alot of work to, but things werent going as he planned. Riley was laying on her parents couch with both of her parents gone to get her new little brother some more things that he needed. She sighed wishing someone was there with her. She was afraid of going into labor alone and having the baby alone. She looked around the house smiling and everything that had happened in the past year and she knew that it was time for her to get the baby out of her.

Riley looked up hearing the door open "Who is that?" she asked

Elizabeth had been helping with everything she could, since the Tritions had taken her in, and made her feel loved, and wanted. She walked into the house with a bag of food and dessert for Riley. She knew with her getring pregnant she was hungry all the time, so she wanted to help with the hunger.
"Just me sis. I got us food."

Riley sat up alittle and smiled "Food sounds good right about now." she said

She smiled. "I knew you would say that." She said sitting down and handing her a peach tea. She smiled and set her drink down and went into the bag to get her food out.

Riley smiled as she opened the tea and started drinking her tea.

She smiled and handed her the subway. "I got your favorite." She said handing it over and got her sandwich out unwrapping it. She smiled a little and looked around. "Mom, and dad still gone?" She asked.

Riley unwrapped her snadwhich looking at her sister "Yeah. They said that our little brother needed some more things." she said taking a bite out of her sandwhich

She nodded taking a bite, she chewed it and swallowed. "Yeah. Mom was saying David needed some new things." She said looking at the tv.

"How can that kid need something new every five minutes." Rie asked

"I know right?" She said laughing a little and took another bite. "I think it was baby wipes and diapers that they needed." She said looking at her.

Riley nodded "Well he is going to be one happy little boy."

"Oh yeah, but we are as bad as they are." She said smiled and sipped her tea.

"Yes we are." She said

Elizabeth smiled and sat back looking at the Tv. She had a long day and was tired.

Riley smiled eating as they watched tv

She put her feet on the table and yawned. "God today has been long." She said softly.

Riley nodded "I know. Aiden dropped me off here at like 530 this morning and I still dont know when or if he is getting off tonight."

She sighed and touched her arm. "Has he been around you a lot lately?" She asked looking at her sister.

"When he isnt working and believe me I know what he is doing at all times because he calls me every hour on the hour to check on me. Unless he is out on the streets and cant get to the phone." she said sadly

"I'm sorry to hear that sis." She said reaching over and rubbed Riley's belly a little.

Riley nodded "Its not your fault."

"I know, but I know it must suck." She said looking at her and smiled a little.

She nodded groaning a little trying to get comfortable

She looked. "What?" She asked. "Are you ok?" She asked.

"For some reason I just cant get comfortable."
